On a wooded site with views west toward the ocean, this small home is designed to maximize views and showcase a photographer’s art while shading the interior from summer sun. Broad overhangs, patios and exterior sunshades protect large windows. An interior light shelf provides downlighting for a ribbon of gallery space above the vaulted living and dining rooms.
